Red wine from the Les Collines du Bourdic estate in France, Pays d’Oc – Languedoc region.

A characterful and fruit-driven Syrah with the typical sunny character of southern France. On the nose, intense aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries and violets, complemented by spicy notes of pepper and garrigue. On the palate, supple yet powerful, with ripe dark fruit, soft tannins and an elegant, spicy finish.

Spicy – juicy – blackcurrant – pepper – supple.

Barrel ageing:

Mainly aged in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness and pure fruit character of the Syrah, with possibly a short period of ageing in wood for extra roundness.
