Sourced from selected vineyards in the coastal area of Marsala. Here the grapes are more susceptible to natural oxidation and often reach a higher sugar content. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature between 20 and 25 degrees. Alcohol in the form of 'mistella' (grape must with alcohol) and 'mosto cotto' (concentrated grape juice, which has been thickened by cooking) is added. This ensures the right balance between alcohol, sugar and taste. The wine matures in oak for five years.

Color Amber. Scent Walnuts, marmalade, figs and honey. Taste Silky Marsala, clear hints of dried fruit and walnuts with honey in the aftertaste. Serve at Delicious with blue cheese, such as gorgonzola and roquefort.
