Taste profile / Wine list description

A rich and elegant white Hermitage with aromas of ripe pear, peach, dried fruit and subtle floral notes. Full-bodied and round on the palate with a buttery texture, fresh acidity and refined minerality. The oak ageing adds extra depth with nuances of vanilla, brioche and soft toast. The finish is long, harmonious and gastronomic.

Full-bodied, creamy, mineral, gastronomic, oak-aged.

Serving temperature

10–12 °C.

Food pairing

Scallops, shellfish, creamy fish dishes, poultry with cream sauce, truffle brie or refined vegetarian dishes.

Ageing potential

Already very drinkable now thanks to its roundness and fruit, but will develop further complexity over approximately 8–15 years. Top Hermitage Blanc wines made from Marsanne can age even longer, evolving into notes of honey, nuts and toast.
