Tasting notes / Wine list description

A powerful yet refined Hermitage with a deep ruby red colour. On the nose, intense aromas of blueberry, cassis, black cherry, cappuccino, vanilla and subtle hints of pepper. On the palate, rich and concentrated, with ripe dark fruits, velvety tannins and an elegant spiciness. The oak ageing adds extra complexity with notes of toast, cocoa and light smoke. Long, harmonious finish with a mineral freshness.

Ageing potential / Cellaring potential

Already impressive after decanting, but this wine clearly has ageing potential. Ideal drinking window: 2027–2040. Top-quality Hermitage based on Syrah develops aromas of leather, black olives, tobacco, truffle and spices over the years.
