Barrel ageing
For the most recent vintages of Château Pouyanne Graves Blanc available, no specific barrel ageing is mentioned. The wine is known for its fruity and mineral style, in which citrus fruits, freshness and the terroir take centre stage. We can therefore assume that the influence of the wood, if present, is very limited or even non-existent.
Barrel ageing: no or very little wood, no dominant presence.
Dry white Bordeaux, composed of 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Expressive aromas of citrus fruits, white fruit and flowers, underpinned by a refined mineral note. Fresh and lively on the palate, with a surprisingly round structure and an elegant finish. Ideal with shellfish and crustaceans, grilled fish and as a refined aperitif. Best enjoyed between 2026 and 2029.
