Woodford Reserve Malt is a standout among this distillery's offerings. For this is not a typical 100% malt whiskey, but a true Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey made from 51% malt and matured in virgin oak casks. Using the amount of malt as a base gives the Woodford Reserve Malt rich and complex flavours that further enrich the nutty aromas that Woodford Whisky naturally has.
Scents of nuts, caramel and layers of fruit come together with notes of spices, mint and toasted oak. Dark chocolate, caramel, nut and cocoa powder flavours fill the mouth. Coconut and oak further complement this.
