Glenfiddich 12 Year is a much-loved single malt whiskey from Scotland. It is distilled in Speyside, an area in the northern Moray region. After the distillation process is complete, the spirit is transferred to bourbon and ex-sherry barrels, where it is allowed to mature for a total of 12 years. The result is a whiskey bursting with character. The aroma contains influences of fresh fruit, supported by a pleasant freshness. The taste mainly reveals notes of peat smoke and butterscotch. The undertone is carried by characteristics of wood and different types of malt. The whole is rounded off by a long but pleasantly soft aftertaste.
