Bruichladdich Organic 2009 is an 8-year-old single malt whisky that enjoyed maturation in American ex-Bourbon and Tennessee whisky casks. By organic we mean that absolutely no pesticides are used in the cultivation of the grain crops. Launched at 50% ABV in a limited edition of 18,000 bottles. This is a non-turfed Bruichladdich distilled with 100% organic Scotch malt. A beautiful terroir whisky that Bruichladdich is rightly proud of. A richly full-bodied and complex whisky with the boddy to keep surprising. One uses local Islay spring water to bottle unfiltered without colouring so you can experience as much of the flavour as the Master Distiller intended.
