The Montagny's come from clay-limestone soils and benefit from a temperate climate with a continental influence, which produces wines with a lively start, followed by a very fresh mid-tone and then ending with a sweet finish and very pleasant with slightly spicy accents. It has a good aptitude for aging; it is predestined for poultry stews, pâtés and rillettes. The ideal serving temperature is between 11 and 13°C.
