About the winery Félix Solís Avantis is one of the largest family wineries in Spain and was founded in 1952 in the DO Valdepeñas, long the main road to Madrid. Behind his frenzied power, the Kingpin also turns out to be very laid-back. In this wine the Kingpin meets his match." Vineyard and region Originating from Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain, the largest wine-growing region in the world. Vinification The fermentation of the three separate grape varieties takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of a maximum of 15 degrees. This takes 20-25 days. The wine then matures for another 2-3 months on the yeast cells, for extra complexity and creaminess. The Chardonnay matures for 3 months in French oak barrels, during which batonnage takes place: the yeast cells release extra creaminess. Then the blend is made. Color Light golden yellow. Scent Tropical fruit, peach, fresh citrus notes. Taste Generous wine with lots of fruit, soft fresh acidity and creaminess. Serve at Delicious with paella, tapas or meats.
