Terroir
Plot selection of our old Grenache N, around forty years old. The grounds are clay-limestone, quite deep, which allows the vines to suffer moderately dry during our arid summers.
Winemaking
Traditional vinification in concrete vats. Destemming, maceration for one thirty days before devatting. Extraction is done by small pumping overs to promote infusion. Aged for one year in steel vats.
Tasting
The dominance of Grenache in the blend takes us to a very black wine, which can even appear austere when opened. Then, in the glass, little by little, this wine reveals his whole personality to us. We then discover small red fruits very ripe, going all the way to crème de cassis. The material is ample and supple, with good consistency until the final.
