Our White Field Blend is made from one of our vineyards at Quinta do Laranjal, planted in 1993 by a vineyard master from our grandfather's time. This vineyard is planted in an old style, with the grape varieties mixed into the soil, but in proportions that represent the desired final blend for the wine. An authentic pearl of the Dão! The 2021 harvest turned out to be an excellent year, especially for white wines, with healthy and very balanced grapes. The grapes were harvested by hand, after a strict selection process. This wine is made from a blend of different grape varieties from one vineyard plot. A minimalist approach in the winery where direct pressing of the grapes, controlled fermentation and a maturation of 7 months on fine lees were carried out. Color: Yellow. Aroma: The wine has a floral aroma, citrus fruit and stone fruit where orange blossom, lemon and peach stand out in combination with a mineral touch, which gives it complexity. Mouth: On the palate the wine is dry, with a very present natural acidity, which gives it good intensity and harmonizes the alcohol volume. The notes of citrus and tropical fruits should be emphasized, with grapefruit and a soft touch of green pineapple standing out during the tasting.
