Lower yields per hectare to get more quality from the grape. This wine has had a subtle wood aging. Fruity sensations of blackberries and blueberries accompanied by vanilla and nuts. Structured wine with fine tannins. Can age beautifully. The company managed by Lionello Rosso covers 12 hectares almost entirely cultivated with Barbera: the vineyards are located in the territory of Agliano Terme, in Piedmont, on the Monferrato hills, included in 2014 by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites of Humanity. The belief of being in a unique area for the cultivation of the Barbera vine has led us to specialize in the production of Barbera d'Asti in all its varieties, trying to obtain the highest quality with careful work in the vineyard and cellar. The location is ideal for the production of Barbera due to the loamy soils with alkaline and slightly calcareous soil, which gives us a fruity, balanced and well-structured Barbera. Manual harvest, reducing grape yield per hectare to guarantee better quality. Soil management with a view to improving and incorporating organic matter, partly through the choice of specific green manures for the vineyard.
