This wine has a ruby red colour. Spicy notes and aromas of cherries and dried figs. It makes a velvety impression with soft tannins and makes for a very smooth wine experience.
This Neropasso comes about through an age-old process of appasimiento in which the grapes are partially dried in ventilated attic rooms. This way, they lose about 30% of their moisture. After pressing, this process increases the concentration of flavours that contribute to the typical character of this wine.
This is a very versatile wine that goes with a whole range of pasta with vegetables, meat and chicken. But it is also a very good match with a stew or with Asian dishes. Moreover, it is the ultimate companion to cheese dishes.
