Our Moscato d'Asti DOCG by Matteo Poggio is a refined and elegant wine, perfect for those looking for a light and aromatic experience. Made from 100% Moscato Bianco di Canelli, sourced from carefully selected vineyards in Castel Boglione, this wine offers an outstanding balance between freshness and sweetness. The grapes are gently pressed with the utmost care, after which the must is transferred in an autoclave until second fermentation. This process is stopped at an alcohol content of 5.5%, allowing the wine to retain its natural sweetness and sparkling character.

The Moscato d'Asti matures exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh and fruity notes. With an average vineyard age of 30 to 35 years, a south-east exposure and a location at 430 metres above sea level, the grapes benefit from optimal ripening conditions. This results in a wine with an intense aromatic profile, characterised by notes of ripe fruit, flowers and a subtle honeyed undertone.
This wine is best served at a serving temperature of 8°C and ideally poured in a wide beaker to allow the aromas to fully develop. Perfect as a refreshing aperitif on a summer day, but also an excellent companion to fresh fruit, pastries and even aged cheeses. A refined choice for special moments and good company.Chateau Les Justices has been a speciality of the medeville family since 1710 - unique in Sauternes, as the wine is aged for more than 20 years in small cement tanks and then a further two to three years in bottle before release. This unusual way of working, through its long reduction, enhances the natural fruit flavours of Preignac's wines, with high citrus notes, and makes them almost immortal, carried by a sensational aromatic complexity and an ever-lasting finish. Great gastronomic pleasure - combining power, voluptuousness and elegance - for this reason, the family's newer vineyards at Les Justices rightly deliver too much for the price.
