Le Kid d'Arsac is the second label of the Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, Château d'Arsac. The wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in 30% new oak barrels and 70% stainless steel vats; the oak aging gives the wine depth and richness, while aging in steel preserves the purity of fruit. In the glass, the wine shows a vibrant ruby color with enchanting aromas of cassis, black cherries, baked plums, sandalwood and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is full bodied yet soft, with a delicate acidity and smooth tannins that effortlessly coat the mouth. The finish is persistent and energetic with great fruit concentration that calls you back to the glass for another sip. Le Kid d'Arsac is a supremely approachable Margaux red that would be perfect to enjoy with a roast beef fresh out of the oven or cold on a sandwich.
