Sailing on the Rhône means letting yourself be carried eastwards, from the Hermitage hill, where the vines stretch across majestic slopes, nourished by the earth and the wind.
Each harvest is a precious peach, from which only the best bunches are carefully picked.
Hermitage wine, born from the marriage between the river and the hill, invites you to travel: a journey through time, through flavours and through the soul of a unique terroir.
TERROIR
Eastern slope of the hill, Rhône river terraces composed of limestone on colluvium.
VINIFICATION
After destemming, traditional vinification takes place with a three-week maceration, interspersed with daily pumping-over procedures to extract all the aromatic richness and structure of the grape variety.
TASTING
The ruby red colour heralds a wine of beautiful intensity. The nose opens with a rich aromatic palette, a blend of blueberry, blackcurrant, cappuccino and vanilla. On the palate, it reveals an elegant and rich power, supported by a harmonious structure with supple tannins and a pleasant persistence.
