Copperhead gin is the result of a collaboration between Yvan Vindevogel (a pharmacist from Kortrijk with a strong interest in the healing aspect of gin) and Bernard Fillier (owner of the well-known grain distillery Filliers) who is superior in distilling juniper berry-based alcohol. The deliciously smooth Belgian gin contains various botanicals like juniper berries, orange peel, coriander seed, angelica root but also cardamom. This gives you a soft and fresh nose of citrus. Copperhead is bottled in a striking copper-coloured bottle reminiscent of a distillery column. A copperhead is a poisonous snake and must refer to the snakes of the Caduceus staff, a well-known alchemical symbol from ancient times and still used in medicine. Hence, the gin is also called Alchemy Gin.
