De leeftijd van deze Cognac maakt het een product in volle transformatie. De kleur wordt dieper en er verschijnen soepelheid en rondheid op de neus. De geur van vanille verkregen door contact met eikenhouten vaten (ze bevatten zelf vanille in hun componenten) is gevoeliger. De bloemengeuren worden subtieler en de houtachtige tonen meer gesmolten. Met zijn delicate aroma's wordt hij ook gedronken op ijs en longdrinks. Minimum leeftijd van de spirits is 5 jaar.
